MCB Seychelles Promotional offer

1. This promotional offer is organised by The Mauritius Commercial Bank (Seychelles) Ltd, (“MCB Seychelles / Bank”).
2. The offer shall be valid from 1st November 2024 to 15th January 2025 (“Promotion period”).
3. A lottery draw shall be held in the second week of February 2025 to award prizes to five (5) lucky winners (“Winners”).
4. The winners shall be prized a three (3) day trip on the island of La Digue and this shall include two (2) nights staycation on full board (“FB”) basis at the following hotel establishments on La Digue - 1st winner Le Domaine de L'Orangeraie Resort & Spa, 2nd and 3rd winner Le Nautique Luxury waterfront and 4th and 5th winner at Le Repaire Boutique Hotel.
5. In addition to FB lodgings, all stays shall be inclusive of two (2) return tickets per winner on the Ferry from Mahe to Praslin/ Praslin to La Digue.
6. The above prizes shall be presented through a voucher, valid from the date of the lottery draw and paid only upon the applicable winners staycation date confirmation.
7. The vouchers shall be strictly allocated to the winner and shall not be assignable, transferable and/or redeemed in cash or otherwise.
8. The vouchers shall be valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of the lottery draw (“Prize validity period”).
9. MCB Seychelles will be paying for room on full board basis as stipulated by the Voucher per Hotel. Any other extra costs must be born by the winner.

Eligibility

1. MCB Seychelles individual customers aged above 18 years, having a valid MCB Seychelles Visa Classic debit, Visa Platinum debit, Visa Classic credit or Visa Gold credit card (“MCB Seychelles Cardholders”) shall be eligible for this promotional offer (“Participants”).
2. The lottery tickets shall be assigned as follows:
   • One lottery ticket for participants at each SCR100 approved transactions online and POS only.
   • Two lottery tickets for new cards registered during the promotion period, this does not apply to existing cards, forced updated cards, cards subject to renewal, lost or damaged cards.
3. Where applicable, all corresponding additional entries effected by the participants secondary cardholder shall only be issued and added to the primary participants' ticket.

Ineligibility

1. MCB Seychelles employees, individual customers under 18 and MCB Visa Business cardholders are not eligible to participate in this offer.
2. Primary and secondary Cardholders, with overdue credit card payments and/or overdue loan installments, and /or subject to recovery procedures on any credit facilities from the Bank, are also excluded from this promotion.

General Terms and Conditions

1. The participant acknowledges that they are aware of the terms and conditions before participating in this campaign. All participants in this promotional offer agree that the campaign rules as set out in these terms and conditions are binding on them.
2. Participants shall not be awarded more than one prize, regardless of the number of lottery tickets issued.
3. A count of transactions carried out in Seychelles or abroad on POS terminals or on e- commerce sites shall be computed on the date of authorisation for each transaction within the promotion period with tickets issued accordingly to eligible participants.
4. In accepting the above mentioned, applicable prize, the winners shall grant MCB Seychelles the right to publish their name(s) and their photo(s) in the press and on relevant communication media identified by MCB Seychelles. The winners may be requested to appear in the national/ international press or on the Bank's promotional physical or digital mediums.
5. The lottery draw shall take place at MCB Seychelles, Victoria Main Branch at Caravelle House, Victoria, Mahe in the presence of a representative of the Seychelles police.
6. The winners shall be contacted by phone on the cardholder's contact number(s) as held in the Bank's records.
7. MCB Seychelles reserves the right to review and amend the above terms and conditions and such amendments shall become effective immediately and/or on such date as may be determined by MCB Seychelles. Notice of such changes shall be made available to all participants via Bank mediums.
8. Participants shall not have any recourse or claim against MCB Seychelles for any direct or indirect loss and/or damage(s) as a result of any amendment to these terms and conditions and/or as a result of MCB Seychelles' cancellation, termination or suspension of the offer in line with these terms and conditions.
9. The promotion terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Seychelles and in case of disagreement the decision of MCB Seychelles shall be final and without appeal.
